The word grill comes from the Greek language. There are different types of grills. While the spacing of metal sticks (skewers) or sticks made of tree branches is a frequently used cooking method on the grill, cooking can also be done with metal/woods in the form of bars or cages.

Meat, fish and meatballs are the main dishes cooked on the grill. Grilled dishes are prepared by cooking meat over charcoal, with or without marinating it.

One of the most important points to pay attention to in grilled food is undoubtedly the proper cooking of the meat. If meat is cooked too much, it may become tough or black burns may appear on the meat. This is an undesirable situation in terms of taste and presentation.

Another issue that requires mastery when cooking meat on the grill is cooking the meat to the right consistency. So, even if the meat is undercooked, it won't happen at all. Because raw meat has a bad taste, it cannot appeal to the palate, and it is very difficult for people to eat (chew).

Grilled meals are a healthy way of eating. Grilling is done on an iron counter called barbecue. In Turkey, the concept of grilling already goes beyond barbecue. In addition to grilled meat, peppers, tomatoes and onions, depending on the dish, can also be kebabbed. This not only enhances the presentation of the dish, but also adds flavor to it.
