Sheet Pan is a dish originating from Southeastern Anatolia. This region is a region where many ethnic cultures have lived together throughout history. One of the most important dishes brought to our cuisine by the region, which is as rich in food diversity as its history and culture, is the Istanbul  Sheet Pan.

Istanbul Sheet Pan is a meat dish consisting of meat as its main ingredient, various spices and flavoring vegetables such as garlic, pepper and tomato. Of course, the pan that gives its name to the dish and is made of sheet metal is also an important component. Sheet metal is a material obtained from iron. It is an ingredient that is healthy and adds flavor to food. Although modern versions are used today, it is essential that a good metal pan is cooked on the sheet metal.

Istanbul Sheet Pan is originally made with lamb meat. However, since lamb meat does not appeal to everyone's taste, beef can also be used. Meat cut into small pieces is marinated with spices the day before. Melt the tail fat on a heated sheet pan, add the meat and cook until the water is slightly absorbed. The dish is ready when finely chopped pepper, tomato and garlic are added.
